Rare Antique 14K Gold Belle Epoque Bippart, Griscom & Osborn Enamel Posy Holder

For your consideration this rare 14k gold Bippart, Griscom & Osborn enamel posy holder, American circa 1910. Designed in the Belle Epoque Faberge/Cartier style. Masterfully created featuring a pair of circular panels with blue guilloche within a reeded border, the tapered stem (1.5 inches long) with closing ring, terminating in a chain with a finger ring, marked 14k & makers mark for Bippart, Griscom & Osborn. 

Posy holders in the early 1900's were regarded as a fashion accessory for young ladies to hold flowers brought by romantic courting gentleman callers. 

Holder is presented in very good overall condition, enamel is bright, shows normal wear for age. The overall measurements of the holder are 1 1/2" in length, and a total weight of 4.7 Grams.
