Antique Victorian Silver Bohemian Garnet & Porcelain Child Portrait Ring Size 6

This splendid antique Victorian silver bohemian garnet & porcelain child portrait ring is fit for a queen. The inner oval porcelain panel depicts a hand painted boy seated on the ground reading a book, within a crimped frame. Fourteen lustrous rose cut garnets of a 4mm average size are mounted within a similarly set surrounds. The ring is circa 1890 and it originates in Eastern Europe.

Ring is unmarked but tested as silver and has a total weight of 8.4 Grams. Ring is a size 6 and the face of ring measures 1 1/6"H by 7/8"W and the oval portrait measures 11/16"H x 9/16"W. Metal content was tested with a Niton DXL Spectral XRF precious metal analyzer. Ring is presented in very good overall condition with normal wear for age. (See magnified photos).
