Antique 18K Gold & Platinum Plique A Jour Enamel Diamond Religious Cross Pendant

This lustrous pendant features an antique Edwardian era 18K gold & platinum Plique A Jour enamel diamond cross pendant. The elaborate frame features milgrain edges and is crafted in platinum over yellow gold. Complementing the center of the cross is an antique cut 0.15 carat shimmering diamond, and 25 diamond chips are mounted in the florets and throughout the enameled frame. The cross was masterfully created with stunning bright red, blue and green plique a jour enamels.

The pendant measures 1 1/2" high (excluding the bail), and 1" wide. Pendant is unmarked but tests 18k & platinum with a total weight of 3.4 grams. Metal content was tested with a Niton DXL precious XRF metal analyzer. Pendant is presented in very good overall condition, shows normal wear for age. (See magnified photos.)
